About us
As briefly mentioned on our front page our cattery is run by Berit and Cecilie. We started our Ragdoll journey in 2008 with the Queen of our house, Firings Rags Felicia, a beautiful tortie girl that will be 13 this year. She is the balance in our cattery, and the one that always welcomes the new additions. We had out first litter in May of 2010, where Felicia of course was the proud mother. We have been very active in the Ragdoll community since Felicia came to us, and we used to show our cats very actively. Today we do no longer go to that many shows as we reached a point where we needed a break, but we normally try to do at least 1-2 a year; however 2020 sat a stopper for that. We are members of the FIFe Ragdoll breed council.
We do our best to get healthy, happy, well tempered, beautiful kittens, and we have a very clear look that we work for. Most of our kittens are socialized with Cecilie's Chihuahua, and in the future as her Schnauzer calms down a bit we hope to socialize them with him as well.
Our cats generally do not have much more than two litters, as we like to move forward with our breeding work, and we care deeply about their well-being. We believe that if we are to rehome the girls to pethomes after they have been in breeding, they can not be older than five years old, because we wish for them to live a good a life as possible. Our boys are generally not used that long in breeding either, but we do have a weakness for the boys, which is why we both have a neutered male living with us, preferrably we'd keep them all !
